It’s Time to End Gender-Based Violence | Women and Gender Equality Canada (14+)
Women are almost four times more likely than men to experience intimate partner violence. Indigenous women experienced violence at a rate 2.7 times higher than that reported by non-Indigenous women. Gay, lesbian or bisexual individuals are three times more likely than heterosexuals to report experiencing violence. Gender-based violence must end.
