Trustee Recognition of Staff

Each year the Board of Trustees recognize staff retirements and years of service (10, 20, 30, 35 and 40 years with the board). 

 

Also beginning in 2023, the Board began the annual I AM Making an Impact Trustee recognition program for AMDSB employees. It recognizes, celebrates and showcases the outstanding projects and initiatives by individual employees and teams across our system. The program is focused on the advancement of the priority work of the AMDSB Strategic Plan and the betterment of education in the board and beyond. 

Each year, up to three recipients are recognized and celebrated during the evening Recognition and Retirement Reception which is held in June (see the e-magazine below for the 2023 honourees). 

 

Criteria for this recognition connects to the core areas of the AMDSB Strategic Plan (iAM Prepared, iAM Well, iAM Engaged) and focuses on a specific core area based on the priorities and goals of the system in that given year.
