In partnership with Huron-Perth Catholic, we will be welcoming author Katherine Martinko (Childhood Unplugged, The Analog Family Substack) for an in-person presentation titled, “Stronger Connections, Healthier Tech Habits: Six Guidelines for Managing Tech & Kids.” This session will explore the effects of excessive screen use on children's mental health and well-being, while offering guidelines and practical strategies for:
Setting healthy technology boundaries for K-12 students
How to support face‑to‑face interactions and meaningful connections with your children
Tools for talking with children about technology using simple, supportive scripts
