With SURP (Skills Upgrading and Readiness Program), you can:
  • upgrade your skills for employment, apprenticeship or college.
  • get ready for high school credits.
  • learn new skills to improve your well-being.

In our program, you will work on lessons at your own pace, with the help of a Literacy Practitioner.

Lessons are specific to your goals and will build your confidence with:
  • reading
  • writing
  • math
  • digital technology
  • workplace essential skills

After registering, you will complete an assessment to help us understand your strengths and skill gaps. You will work with your Practitioner to build your learning plan.

Our program is available to Ontario residents. We serve adult learners who are at least 18 years old and out of school. All services are free.
