Supporting Students

As a result of the interventions of a STRIVE Child and Youth Worker (CYW) students who are referred by the school team are supported within a safe, consistent, and structured environment in which social-emotional regulation skills are developed through programming in individualized, group and classroom settings.

Supporting Staff

STRIVE CYWs collaborate with the school-based team (educators, educational assistants and administrators) to develop and implement interventions for specific students within the classroom and the school to support academic and social success.

Supporting Families

The STRIVE CYW partners with families to share strategies and to communicate effective interventions to support and enhance student learning and success at school.

Coordinated Services

A key function of the STRIVE program is to collaborate with community partners and to access school-based resources and expertise in order to align services and support for student learning.
